Native American Wedding Vase for ceremony

Please note: These vases will hold water for a Native American wedding ceremony, but only for several hours. Water should be added as soon before the ceremony as possible, and poured out very soon after. If water is allowed to sit in these overnight, they will dissolve into a putty-like mass! One style shown will hold water, and is show with the alternate vases (page bottom). There is a 10% restocking fee and a 15 day limit for returns on these vases.

The wedding vase has been a part of pueblo life for centuries. The spouts represent two separate lives while the bridge at the top joins these lives as one. The beautiful vase incorporated into this cake top was made by Vail, a New Mexico Native American craftsman. The dream catcher captures the couple's bad dreams, doubts and fears while allowing only the good dreams to pass through. Finally, the two dove feathers at the back of the design symbolize love- one for the bride and one for the groom. Their shafts are wrapped in red thread to signify the "Good Red Road", the Native American way of living in harmony with each other and with Nature. The feathers used in the floral design are also dove feathers. 

In this design, a white Native American wedding vase, finished in a southwest horse-hair motif, rests upon a sandstone texture base with a dream catcher, dove feathers, and roses.

The alternate designs simply vary in color themes. The Autumn design features maple leaves and Fall colors, and the Table Decor piece has a wood base instead of a cake top base, but can be placed on a cake if desired. Please specify style by email or on order confirmation page.

I can customize this design to your color choices in flowers and dream catchers if I have them in stock (see "Colors" link). Other vase styles are also available at varying cost. The horse-hair motif shown may vary from vase to vase, as may the exact shape. E-mail me with any questions.

This top is a full round display and measures approximately 5 inches diameter at the base and 7 1/2 inches tall. Photos will be emailed before shipping upon request.

The white ("Horsehair") Native American Wedding Vase for ceremony (left) is about 8" tall and 5 to 6" wide at the spouts. The exact design will vary, but is the same style as the smaller vases in the cake toppers above, and will work wonderfully for a ceremony. $47 includes shipping with insurance to US addresses, and these may be purchased separately from a cake top.
